The group The Grace gathered to celebrate their 21st debut anniversary, but Dana’s absence once again has fans wondering.
On May 13, Stephanie shared several photos with Lina and Sunday on her SNS, captioning them, “Our 21st anniversary♡.” The three looked radiant under the sunny weather, showing off their timeless beauty and unchanging friendship in a heartwarming atmosphere.
However, fans quickly noticed Dana was missing. Dana has been absent from group gatherings starting from the 19th anniversary in 2024 up to this 21st anniversary. Previously, Sunday had sent an affectionate warning on SNS, saying, “No way you’re missing the 20th anniversary next year,” but a full group reunion still hasn’t happened this year.
Dana’s repeated absences are reportedly due to psychological pressure. Appearing on the YouTube channel ‘Jae-Chingu,’ the other members dismissed rumors of conflict and expressed their understanding, stating, “Dana unnie asked for our understanding because she isn’t personally ready. She still feels shy about standing before the media and the public.”
In fact, Dana recently appeared via voice on a radio show to share an honest update on her life. She confessed, “I’m currently completely unemployed, and at one point, I even worked a part-time job delivering food by car.” She added a cautious tone, saying, “I’m thinking about whether to stand before the public again after working hard on my health and mental care.”
Meanwhile, Dana previously made headlines in 2019 when she successfully lost 27kg after revealing her weight had reached nearly 80kg.
