Singer DinDin opened up about a time in his past when he almost cut ties with his mother after she discovered his motel and hotel payment records.
On the 8th, a video titled “[Parents’ Day Special] Story of getting caught by mom with a girlfriend” was uploaded to the YouTube channel ‘DinDin is DinDin’.
During the video, DinDin shared various stories about dating and family while enjoying a meal with his parents.
DinDin recalled a major clash with his mother after he became an adult. “It was when I first started earning money,” he said. “One day I came home to find my bankbook spread open in my room.”
He remembered his mother suddenly asking, “What is this motel?”
DinDin confessed, “I couldn’t understand it. I wondered why she was checking since it was money I earned, not hers. I felt like she was censoring me, and I almost cut ties with her.”
In response, DinDin’s mother explained, “I wasn’t trying to snoop. He was just so busy that I was helping him organize his bankbook and happened to see it.”
However, DinDin admitted, “I was embarrassed too. I don’t think anyone wants to show their mom who they go to hotels with.” He then caused a laugh by honestly admitting, “It was actually quite frequent back then.”
