Choi Mina-soo, the visual goddess of ‘Single’s Inferno 5’, is boldly writing her own unique growth narrative through constant change and challenges in fashion.
Appearing on the tvN fashion survival show ‘Kill It’ aired on the 19th, Choi Mina-soo took the stage for the Round 2 1:1 deathmatch. She boldly shed her previous innocent and elegant image, leaving a powerful impression with a shocking 180-degree transformation.

The Round 2 deathmatch, titled ‘Item War’, was an extreme challenge where participants chose one of 25 fashion items and then swapped suitcases with their 1:1 opponent to complete their styling. Choi Mina-soo revealed, “When I heard about the suitcase swap, there were clothes I wanted to wear,” and personally selected Bellau Young, the participant with the most followers and a hip style completely different from her own, setting up an epic showdown.
After choosing a ‘rider jacket’, Choi Mina-soo was briefly flustered by Bellau Young’s suitcase, which was filled with vintage and layered pieces. However, she quickly reinterpreted them into her own rebellious mood using frills, studs, and check denim. With a bold transformation in her hair, makeup, and attitude, she captivated the on-site photographers. MC Jang Yoon-ju praised her unique aura, noting, “The photographers love Mina-soo so much.”
Jang Yoon-ju, who had given harsh criticism in Round 1, was completely stunned by Choi Mina-soo’s successful ‘young’ makeover, exclaiming, “I was shocked, thinking ‘Who is this person?’ I was impressed and surprised.” Judge Yeonjun also gave a positive review, stating, “Thanks to Mina-soo’s proportions, the rider jacket looks even cooler.” Although the challenge ended in a loss, Choi Mina-soo received a wave of support after sharing her determined thoughts: “This is another opportunity and stepping stone for growth, so I will continue to show my challenging side.”
