Premiering June 6 at 4 PM, Coupang Play’s new variety show “Wonhee is Twenty” is a relatable real variety show where Wonhee, who is experiencing many things for the first time, grows as she tackles a 20-year-old’s bucket list alongside her older sisters. Marking ILLIT Wonhee’s first solo variety show, it will capture her journey of realizing 20-year-old dreams, including part-time jobs, boxing, and day trips.
Stills from the first episode have been released, featuring Wonhee’s very first bucket list item: “drinking alcohol outside.” Wonhee will engage in a romantic drinking talk with her “life sister” Lee Eun-ji.
Ahead of the premiere, a “Campus Attack” campaign is also kicking off. Throughout May, “Wonhee is Twenty” will visit university festivals across the country to meet 20-something college students in person.
Witty banners have been hung at Yongin University and Soongsil University, while booths for “Wonhee is Twenty” are operating at Korea University, Chung-Ang University, and Sejong University. On the 19th, the Korea University booth proved its popularity as it drew a crowd of 20-something students, including freshmen.
Visitors participated in various events, such as a Pump game set to ILLIT songs, a message board for sharing 20-year-old dreams, and a photo zone. The campaign continues at Chung-Ang University on the 21st and Sejong University on the 22nd, where visitors can receive special goods through booth events.
“Wonhee is Twenty,” which records the special moments of being twenty, will be available on Coupang Play. It can be viewed for free by both Coupang Wow members and general members.
