'EXchange 4' Kwak Min-kyung Takes Legal Action Against Malicious Comments:

Kwak Min-kyung from ‘EXchange 4’ has announced that she is taking legal action against malicious posts.

On the 14th, Kwak Min-kyung’s agency, Layer Entertainment, stated via their official SNS, “We have continuously identified acts that violate personality rights, such as the spread of false information, malicious slander, personal attacks, and defamatory posts and comments directed at Kwak Min-kyung across various online communities and SNS.”

They continued, “To protect our artist, we are continuously monitoring related posts and materials, and we are currently proceeding with criminal complaints and legal action against the authors of malicious posts through our legal representative.”

Additionally, they added, “We are continuing to collect further evidence and conduct legal reviews, and we plan to respond strictly according to the law and principles without any leniency for any illegal acts identified. We ask for your special attention as speculative posts based on unconfirmed content and the indiscriminate spread of false information can cause further harm.”

This statement comes six days after Kwak Min-kyung officially admitted to being in a relationship with Shin Seung-yong, who appeared in the same program.

On the 8th, Kwak Min-kyung shared the news of her relationship with Shin Seung-yong through a video on her personal YouTube channel, saying, “Some of you might have noticed, and what you’re thinking is correct.”

Meanwhile, Kwak Min-kyung has previously expressed her pain from suffering continuous malicious comments after appearing on TVING’s ‘EXchange 4’.

In a video on her personal YouTube channel last March, she opened up about malicious comments, saying, “Actually, it was very hard.” She added, “I watched the first episode, but it was too difficult after that, so I couldn’t watch. I just checked my face to see how I appeared and then skipped through.”

She confessed, “When many comments are left on videos I’m in, I occasionally look at them, and the malicious comments were scary. Seeing them made me think, ‘I must have done something wrong,’ and I couldn’t sleep while regretting why I acted that way.”
