[Exclusive] Ryeoun to Lead New Webtoon-Based Romance Drama ‘The World They Date’

Actor Ryeoun is set to star in the upcoming drama ‘The World They Date’, based on a popular webtoon!

According to a report from SPOTV News on the 12th, Ryeoun has been cast as the male lead in ‘The World They Date’.

Based on the Naver webtoon of the same name, ‘The World They Date’ is a romance that follows the story of Se-ul. Just as she declares she is done with dating, three men she has never encountered before suddenly enter her life.

It was confirmed that Shin Se-kyung considered the role of Se-ul but ultimately declined after much thought. Instead, Shin Se-kyung will meet viewers in another rom-com titled ‘Love Virus’. Discussions are currently underway to find a new actress for the role of Se-ul.

Ryeoun previously worked with Go Hyun-jung in the ENA drama ‘Namib’ and left a strong impression as Park Hu-min in Netflix’s ‘Weak Hero’ Season 2. In the first half of this year, he delivered a powerful performance as a serial killer in Disney+’s ‘Bloody Flower’.

Fans are excited to see what new side of Ryeoun will be revealed as he returns to the romance genre in ‘The World They Date’.
