IVE Takes a Stand! Starship Entertainment Vows Strict Legal Action Against Malicious Attacks

IVE is fighting back! The group’s agency has announced strong legal action against malicious comments.

On the 11th, Starship Entertainment released an official statement saying, “We are continuously taking legal action against individuals who create and distribute malicious content targeting An Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, and Leeseo, including defamation, spreading false information, sexual harassment, personal attacks, insults, invasion of privacy, and other malicious slander.”

The agency emphasized, “These actions are clearly illegal, cannot be tolerated under any circumstances, and cannot be justified for any reason.” They added, “We make it clear that there will be no tolerance or exceptions, and we will strictly punish all responsible parties to the fullest extent permitted by law.”

They further explained, “Based on data collected through fan reports and our own monitoring, we have filed complaints with investigative authorities regarding malicious posts on various platforms, including TikTok and YouTube.” They noted that the evidence has been submitted for criminal litigation, regardless of whether the posts were deleted, set to private, or if the accounts were changed or deactivated.

The agency added, “We have secured substantial evidence of activities such as the creation and distribution of malicious rumors and false facts, posts containing mockery, slander, and sexual content, as well as the creation and distribution of manipulated materials like deepfakes.” They intend to continue pursuing strict legal measures, including both criminal and civil lawsuits, without leniency.
