Former MMA fighter turned entertainer Kim Dong-hyun revealed that he has disposed of all his luxury watches as he prepares to become a father of four.
On the 15th, a video titled “Revealing Dong-hyun’s house, showing everything except the door password” was uploaded to the YouTube channel ‘Donghyun-i Net’.
Having recently launched his YouTube channel, Kim Dong-hyun shared, “I wanted to introduce the home where my four children will live. I’ll show you a natural, unartificial side of my life.”
Talking about the fourth child his wife is currently expecting, he joked, “The baby is eating salad in my wife’s belly. The bump is definitely quite big for the fourth one.”
Kim Dong-hyun led the way to the dressing room, describing it as “the only personal space in our house,” where a safe was located.
The production team was surprised, asking, “Just how much money do you make?” Inside the safe were a gold medal received from a sponsor’s CEO during his active fighting days and gold rings for his children.
He then pulled out a single watch, calling it his “only luxury item.” He explained, “This is the only luxury item my wife gifted me when we got married. It cost 8 million won at the time, and its value has likely increased now.”
He confessed, “Actually, I used to have about three luxury watches. I kept them until Dan-woo (the first child) was born, but I sold one or two after the second, and the moment the third was born, I cleared them all.” He added, “I just don’t have the luxury for that now.”
