Former TEEN TOP's Bang Min-soo Had Already Left His Agency Long Before Pushing for an Idol Union

Bang Min-soo, a former member of TEEN TOP who took on the role of preparation committee chair for an idol union, has reportedly already parted ways with his agency last year.

On the 22nd, agency Air Global Castle (formerly Modenberi Korea) released an official statement saying, “The exclusive contract with Bang Min-soo already ended last November,” adding that “the termination of the contract was decided based on mutual agreement.”

Air Global Castle further stated, “Our company is completely unrelated to Bang Min-soo’s efforts to establish an idol union or his political activities,” and asked the public to “refrain from unconfirmed speculation or over-interpretation.”

Bang Min-soo debuted as a member of the boy group TEEN TOP in 2010 and left the group in 2023. Last year, he served as the preparation committee chair for an organization aimed at protecting the rights and interests of popular culture and arts artists, including idols.
