‘Noona is a Woman to Me 2’ is making a fresh start with the addition of DinDin as a new panelist.
An online production presentation for the KBS2 variety show ‘Noona is a Woman to Me 2’ was held on the morning of the 22nd. PD Park Jin-woo, along with Han Hye-jin, Jang Wooyoung, and DinDin, attended the event.
‘Noona is a Woman to Me 2’ is a reality program that captures the romance between older women and younger men who are honest about their feelings, overcoming the reality of age differences. Following the hot response to Season 1, Season 2 is now ready to launch.
During the event, PD Park spoke about the newly joined DinDin, stating, “I had been keeping an eye on his honest and direct attitude and way of speaking.” He added, “He was someone I really wanted to bring on board to add a new color to the program.” PD Park further explained, “I heard he is skilled at flirting and understands women’s hearts well. Specifically, the perspective of a younger brother who grew up with two older sisters was necessary for the show.”
DinDin shared his thoughts, saying, “I was offered a guest spot during Season 1, but it was a shame that my schedule didn’t align.” He added, “I’m enjoying the process by recalling my past preference for older women.” He also expressed excitement, noting, “The development is so fast that it feels like a dopamine explosion. The immersion is high, almost like watching Shorts videos.”
When asked about the difference between this and other dating shows, DinDin honestly confessed, “In some dating programs, there are cast members who seem to have motives other than love, which made it difficult to get immersed.”
He continued, “On the other hand, I could deeply feel the sincerity of the cast members who came to this program to find love.” He praised them, saying, “It was impressive to see them go all-in on love rather than calculating their image.” He added that he is very satisfied with the program simply because the fast pace makes it so immersive.
Han Hye-jin, who is returning for Season 2, caught attention when asked if there were any acquaintances she would recommend as cast members. She replied, “There are so many candidates around me, including Kim Sook, Hong Jin-kyung, Pungja, and even myself.”
To this, Jang Wooyoung joked, “With that lineup, I think the title should be changed to ‘Noona is Just a Woman’,” causing laughter at the scene. DinDin also gave a witty response, adding, “At that point, ‘Noona is Indeed a Woman’ would be more fitting.”
Han Hye-jin showed her special affection for the show by asking PD Park Jin-woo to “please find the courage to make a next season as well.” Jang Wooyoung supported this, saying, “It guarantees success and financial freedom.”
‘Noona is a Woman to Me 2’ will premiere on KBS2 on the 23rd at 10:40 PM.
