The Baeksang Arts Awards took place on the 8th at COEX Hall D in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, hosted by Shin Dong-yup, Suzy, and Park Bo-gum.
Moon Ga-young reached a new turning point in her acting career by winning the Best Actress award for the film ‘If We’. The win is even more meaningful as this was her first-ever movie role.
“There are so many rising stars,” Moon Ga-young said, expressing her gratitude to the film’s staff and fellow actors. She shared a special shout-out to Koo Kyo-hwan, saying, “As they say we acted for each other even in the moments we weren’t seen, this award also belongs to senior Koo Kyo-hwan. She also noted, “This year marks my 20th anniversary since debut,” adding, “I will continue to work hard so that I can grow in a way I can be proud of.” She further added, “Thanks to the audience, I’ve received many confessions saying they’re ‘giving me their hearts.’ I will gather those hearts and continue to live my life playing a variety of characters.”
Her presence on the red carpet was absolutely overwhelming. While most actors opted for black or white dresses, Moon Ga-young stood out in a bold burgundy red gown, instantly capturing all the attention.
The glossy satin dress featured a daring slit and backless details, creating an elegant yet fatal atmosphere. Combined with her long wavy hair and natural makeup, fans reacted that she perfectly captured “Hollywood-style sexiness.”
