From ‘Guma-jeok’ Lee Won-jong to Park Min-young: Stars Jump Into Local Elections!

Former SBS comedian Park Min-young recently announced her candidacy as a proportional representative for the Seongnam City Council under the Democratic Party of Korea.

Park Min-young shared that her motivation for entering politics was “volunteer work,” expressing her ambition to “directly create laws for the socially disadvantaged.” She has been preparing for the local elections while studying political science at Yonsei University Graduate School and stated she will do her best until the end of the election race.

Ahead of this, actor Lee Won-jong was appointed as the “Golmok Golmok” Election Campaign Committee Chair for the Democratic Party. He drew attention while attending the launch ceremony of the Democratic Party’s “Normalization of the Republic of Korea” Election Campaign Committee at the National Assembly on the 10th.
