JTBC’s Saturday-Sunday drama ‘Everyone is Fighting Their Own Worthlessness’ (hereafter ‘Mo-Ja-Mu-Ssa’) has teased a special ‘Girls’ Night’ featuring Go Youn-jung and Han Sun-hwa.
Previously, Byeon Eun-ah delivered a blunt wake-up call to Jang Mi-ran, who was rejecting Lee Jun-hwan’s (Shim Hee-seop) scenario ‘Scary Woman’. Eun-ah told her, “Stop overthinking. Show your animalistic charm.”
While Jang Mi-ran was initially offended by the sharp honesty, she couldn’t deny the truth. Later, while dancing by the night sea, she confessed her special trust in Byeon Eun-ah, noting that she has “the power to make a person land.”
In episode 9, airing today (16th), we’ll see a ‘Girls’ Night’ between the passionate Jang Mi-ran, who follows her heart over her head, and Byeon Eun-ah, who silently accepts Mi-ran’s wandering sincerity.
Hidden behind the glitz of stardom is loneliness and an emotional hunger left by the act of acting. Jang Mi-ran, who had been drifting in a void, opens up about her innermost feelings to Byeon Eun-ah, who has become her personal ‘control tower.’
Fans are eager to see if the emotionally overwhelmed Jang Mi-ran can successfully ‘land’ in the sanctuary provided by Byeon Eun-ah.
Newly released photos capture this intimate conversation. Jang Mi-ran appears upset while drinking, and Byeon Eun-ah watches her with a sympathetic gaze, hinting at a deepening bond and raising expectations for the episode.
What makes this relationship even more intriguing is the presence of ‘Mother Oh Jung-hee (Bae Jong-ok)’.
The dynamic creates a time-bomb level of tension: Byeon Eun-ah holds the secret of being Oh Jung-hee’s hidden biological daughter, while Jang Mi-ran, as the stepdaughter, has struggled to be recognized while living in the shadow of her ‘National Actress’ mother.
The production team shared, “Byeon Eun-ah and Jang Mi-ran will have a sincere conversation during their ‘Girls’ Night’ tonight (16th). Please look forward to how these two, who share their wounds under the common denominator of Mother Oh Jung-hee, will build their relationship.”
Meanwhile, episode 9 of ‘Mo-Ja-Mu-Ssa’ airs tonight at 10:40 PM on JTBC.
