Former soccer player Ha Seok-ju expressed his hope that the Korean national team would deliver great results.
In the May 23 episode of JTBC’s variety show ‘Knowing Bros’ (episode 530), Ha Seok-ju, Kim Tae-young, and Kim Young-kwang appeared as transfer students.
During the show, Seo Jang-hoon asked, “The North and Central America World Cup is coming up soon. As legends of the national team, what are your predictions?”
Kim Young-kwang shared his thoughts, saying, “Assuming we win the first match, I think we’ll make it to at least the round of 16.” Kim Tae-young also predicted a spot in the round of 16, stating, “I hope we perform well in the three group stage matches and go one match further.”
Ha Seok-ju remarked, “We’ve been through so many ups and downs and a lot has happened, but the only way to make it up is through results.” He added, “The round of 16 is a given, but I hope we reach the quarterfinals. That’s my wish.”
Meanwhile, Ha Seok-ju retired from playing in 2003 to pursue a coaching career and served as the vice president of the Korea Football Association from 2023 to 2025.
