Entertainer Yoo Jae-suk made a totally absurd mistake with a name, leading him to finally understand his close colleagues Ji Suk-jin and Park Myung-soo.
In the May 23 episode of MBC’s variety show ‘Hangout with Yoo’ (Episode 330), Yoo Jae-suk, Haha, Heo Kyung-hwan, and Joo Woo-jae carried out royal orders to celebrate the 629th anniversary of King Sejong the Great’s birth.
After completing the royal orders with Heo Kyung-hwan, Yoo Jae-suk visited a restaurant recommended by a local. Seeming quite hungry, he ordered a feast for himself. While finalizing the order, he suddenly said, “Je-cheon gets bibimbap.”
Heo Kyung-hwan, who was suddenly “forcibly renamed” Je-cheon, was completely baffled. “What is ‘Je-cheon’? It was so absurd that I didn’t even respond. Were you talking about seasonal food?” he asked.
Laughing at his own blunder, Yoo Jae-suk joked, “I’m becoming just like Suk-sam hyung. Now I see there was a reason for Suk-sam hyung and Myung-soo hyung,” finally empathizing with the mistakes his older colleagues often make.
