NewJeans member Haerin is making headlines with newly released photos!
On the 15th, agency ADOR shared eight photos of Haerin on NewJeans’ official SNS with the caption “HAPPY HAERIN DAY.” Born on May 15, 2006, Haerin celebrated her 20th birthday.
In the photos, Haerin captures a relaxed vibe, posing in natural light by a window and taking mirror selfies. She also showcased her signature dreamy aura in shots sitting on a beach with a flower and posing in front of European-style buildings. Her more mature look, highlighted by various outfits like a black t-shirt and off-shoulder styling, is definitely catching everyone’s eye.
These posts are creating even more buzz among fans following recent sightings of the members in Copenhagen, Denmark. Previously, photos of Haerin, Hyein, and Hanni with local staff were shared online, which ADOR explained was “part of the pre-production process to capture a new musical narrative.”
After a hiatus since the second half of last year, NewJeans’ official SNS has resumed activity, sequentially posting birthday messages for Hyein, Minji, and Haerin. This has led fans to speculate about future group activities and a potential comeback. While no official plans have been announced, the reactivation of the SNS combined with the members’ overseas production schedules is heightening anticipation for NewJeans’ next move.

In November 2024, the five members of NewJeans held an emergency press conference, notifying ADOR of their intent to terminate their exclusive contracts due to a breakdown in trust. In response to this unilateral notification, ADOR filed a lawsuit to confirm the validity of the contracts, and in October last year, the court ruled in favor of ADOR in the first instance, determining that the contracts remained valid.
Since then, Haerin, Hyein, and Hanni have officially confirmed their return to ADOR, and Minji is reportedly continuing negotiations. On the other hand, Danielle received a notice of contract termination from ADOR in December last year. ADOR subsequently filed a damages claim totaling 43.1 billion won against Danielle, one of her family members, and former CEO Min Hee-jin. The first pleading date for this case took place on the 14th at the Seoul Central District Court.
