In the 7th episode of Coupang Play’s comedy show ‘SNL Korea’ released on the 9th, Han Ga-in made a grand entrance, declaring, “I’m here to make you all laugh your heads off today!”
Having long expressed her passion for comedy, she first disarmed everyone with her goddess-tier visuals before instantly transforming into a “laughter runaway train.”
Her energy was so overwhelming from the start that even the veteran crew and the band Common Ground were left bewildered.
Bringing back her innocent schoolgirl look from the legendary movie ‘Once Upon a Time in High School,’ Han Ga-in immediately dove in with bold lines and a hilariously relatable energy.
She went all out, wearing Bruce Lee’s iconic yellow tracksuit while swinging nunchucks, performing a “lying down” show on a porch just to get free pajeon, and unleashing some wild dance moves.
The scene turned into absolute chaos when she started drying her sweat-soaked clothes with a fan and even used Shin Dong-yup’s business card to clean her teeth, showcasing some incredibly detailed and relatable comedy.
Even the veteran Shin Dong-yup was left speechless, admitting, “I didn’t know she’d go this far,” as Han Ga-in’s natural comedic timing delivered a fresh shock to everyone.
To add to the hilarity, Kim Dong-jun, well-known as Han Ga-in’s doppelganger, made a surprise appearance.
Appearing as Han Ga-in’s reflection in a mirror, Kim Dong-jun’s uncanny resemblance triggered explosive laughter.
In a segment recreating her legendary wedding, which famously labeled her husband Yeon Jung-hoon as one of the “Top 3 National Thieves,” she delivered a “complete gift set” of both stunning beauty and comedic charm.
Han Ga-in shared her excitement, saying, “I was really nervous, but I actually gained so much energy and had a blast. I’d love to come back and show you another side of me next time!”
The episode also featured Lee Su-ji’s limitless transformation into Kim Tae-woo, the singer from Han Ga-in’s actual wedding, along with the chaotic energy of Kim Won-hoon and Kwon Hyuk-soo during the “Weekend Update,” keeping the laughs coming.
Meanwhile, Han Ga-in and Yeon Jung-hoon married in 2005 and have a daughter and a son.
