Actress Han Ga-in graced Gyeongbokgung Palace, showing off a stunning royal Hanbok look for the first time in 14 years since her role in the drama ‘Moon Embracing the Sun’.
On the afternoon of the 14th, a video titled “Stunning beauty Han Ga-in appears at Gyeongbokgung Palace wearing the royal Hanbok she couldn’t wear in ‘Moon Embracing the Sun’ due to her low status, and the surprising reactions of foreigners (+Yeougom Channel)” was uploaded to the YouTube channel ‘Jayubuin Han Ga-in’.
Han Ga-in shared, “Today, I’ve come out with my hair in a traditional jjogjin style. I received so many comments from fans who wanted to see me in a traditional Hanbok,” explaining that she wore the outfit to respond to their requests.
She also looked back on her time filming the hit MBC drama ‘Moon Embracing the Sun’ with a bit of regret. “Since I played a shaman who couldn’t enter the palace in ‘Moon Embracing the Sun’, I wasn’t able to wear a proper royal Hanbok. I wanted to show everyone the traditional beauty of the Hanbok,” she added, explaining the special reason behind this royal Hanbok experience.

Appearing at Gyeongbokgung Palace with her hair elegantly tied back, Han Ga-in perfectly pulled off a bright, white-toned royal Hanbok. Her appearance at the end of the video showcased her timeless “preservative beauty” as if time had stopped, instantly capturing the gaze of citizens and tourists and nearly causing a “Gyeongbokgung paralysis” due to the crowd.
