Han Young Opens Up About Stopping IVF After 2 Years of Struggle on ‘Same Bed, Different Dreams 2’

Park Gun expressed his deep gratitude and apology to Han Young, who underwent IVF treatments for two years.

Park Gun appeared on the SBS show “Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 – You Are My Destiny” which aired on the 26th.

During the episode, Park Gun and Han Young revealed that they had been attempting IVF treatments.

Han Young shared, “For two years, I barely had any rest and continued the procedures every month. I repeated the process of egg retrieval followed immediately by transfer,” revealing she underwent 24 egg retrievals and 7 embryo transfers.

In the studio, Park Gun said, “My wife struggled so much. When she appeared on home shopping channels, her face was swollen, so people thought she wasn’t taking care of herself.” It was also mentioned that Han Young even took injections that lower immunity to increase the success rate.

Han Young stated, “I believe I’ve done as much as I could. When I reached my limit, I stopped the procedures, and we decided to just live happily together.”

Park Gun added, “Since I’m an only child and don’t have much family, I really wanted to start a family, but seeing how much she struggled, I was the one who suggested we stop. I believe that if we are blessed with a child, I will raise them with gratitude, and if not, we can still live happily as we are.”
