Singer Heen (Park Hye-won) left listeners amazed and entertained with her overwhelming live performance and witty charm on a recent radio broadcast.
On the 19th, Heen (Park Hye-won) appeared as a guest on the ‘Meet You at Gwangjang’ segment of KBS Cool FM’s ‘Paul Kim’s Gayo Gwangjang,’ where she showed off fantastic chemistry with DJ Paul Kim.
The two first bonded in 2020 during a duet live of Paul Kim’s song ‘You Know,’ and that friendly vibe was still going strong during this broadcast.
Heen shared the positive message behind her new song ‘Practice to be the Main Character,’ explaining, “We are walking through this time, but all this time is eventually practice to become the main character.”
When a listener asked about the ‘Tube Man’ appearing in the music video, she explained, “The way it dances again even after losing air feels like us. It represents the hopes and goals we hold in our hearts. It’s a message to never let go of the dreams you’re holding onto.”
Heen instantly turned the studio into a concert venue by performing her new track ‘Practice to be the Main Character’ and her hit ‘I’ll Cheer for You Today’ back-to-back.
Blown away by her clear high notes and explosive volume, DJ Paul Kim joked, “I thought a dolphin had entered the studio during rehearsal,” and added, “Is this really live? You can’t lip-sync on the radio!”

She also mentioned being appointed as the sole MC for the music web variety show ‘MONTHLY DAUM.’ She joked, “I have a habit of forgetting lyrics, so musicals or acting might be a story for the far future. If possible, I’d love to try being a temporary DJ for Gayo Gwangjang when Paul Kim sunbaenim goes on vacation!”
