Actors Lim Ji-yeon and Heo Nam-jun revealed their surprising real-life personalities, which are quite different from their on-screen images.
On May 19, the stars of the drama ‘New World’, Lim Ji-yeon and Heo Nam-jun, appeared as guests on the web variety show ‘Salon Drip’ via the YouTube channel ‘TEO’.
Having met for the first time through ‘New World’, Lim Ji-yeon shared that she was confident they would become close quickly. She admitted, “I thought he would be cold, shy, and hard to approach based on his image, but in person, he’s actually very easygoing,” noting how her perception changed.
Heo Nam-jun felt the same way about Lim Ji-yeon. He confessed, “I thought she would be scary,” referring to her strong image as a villain in previous roles. However, he praised her unexpected personality, saying, “I think she’s one of the kindest people I’ve ever met in my life, and she handles jokes really well.”
Meanwhile, the SBS drama ‘New World’ is a romance drama depicting the explosive war between Shin Seo-ri, an unknown actress possessed by the soul of a notorious Joseon-era villain, and Cha Se-gye, a malicious chaebol known as the monster of capitalism.
