In the SBS Friday-Saturday drama ‘Wonderful New World’ aired on the 15th, Kang Dan-shim decided to carry on Shin Seo-ri’s dream.
Cha Se-gye was thrilled when Shin Seo-ri was chosen as the new model through an internal company vote. He noted, “Since the majority of the employees feel this way, it can’t be helped. Let’s make the final decision on Shin Seo-ri and send over the contract.”
However, Shin Seo-ri’s former agency tried to block the move. Even though they had verbally confirmed the contract had expired, they suddenly changed their stance as soon as they heard about the ad deal. In response, Cha Se-gye decided to meet the representatives of the former agency himself.
Meanwhile, Kang Dan-shim discovered the truth about Shin Seo-ri’s past. She was once a child actor with great potential, but for various reasons, she was unable to truly shine.
Feeling heartbroken, Kang Dan-shim lamented, “Do you want me to continue the dream instead? Are you stirring my heart by asking me to fulfill the dream as payment for parasitizing my body?”
Without even realizing it, Cha Se-gye found himself worrying about and caring for Shin Seo-ri. To this, Shin Seo-ri announced, “I’ll give you the good news you’ve been waiting for. Seeing your sincere devotion, I’ve decided to go through with that contract.”
Shin Seo-ri made a bold resolution, saying, “I’ve finally grabbed a lifeline, so I can’t just live flat like a wet rag. Since the world the body owner dreamed of longs for me, I’ll carve out my own destiny.”
But before she could meet Cha Se-gye, Shin Seo-ri got into a fight with Yoon Ji-hyo. The two repeatedly slapped each other, a scene witnessed by Cha Se-gye.
Cha Se-gye grew angry, shouting, “Everyone, that’s enough! What on earth are you doing in someone else’s company?” His gaze then fell upon Shin Seo-ri’s swollen, bruised cheek.
CEO Hong fought back against Cha Se-gye’s intervention, asking, “Who do you think you are to tell us what to do?” Shin Seo-ri also tried to stop him, saying, “That’s right, this is my problem, so don’t step in, Cha Se-gye.”
It was then that CEO Hong and Yoon Ji-hyo were completely shocked to learn Cha Se-gye’s true identity. Cha Se-gye declared, “Let me introduce myself formally. I am Cha Se-gye, the CEO of BOJ Entertainment, Shin Seo-ri’s new agency. Now, can I step in properly?” as he took Shin Seo-ri’s hand.
