
MONSTA X member Hyungwon was spotted at Gimpo International Airport on the afternoon of May 15, heading to Japan for the 3rd Asia Star Entertainer Awards 2026 (ASEA 2026). The event will take place at the Belluna Dome in Saitama Prefecture on May 16 and 17.
Hyungwon will be returning as an MC for the ASEA 2026 ceremony on the 16th, marking his second time in the role following ASEA 2025.
ASEA 2026, a music festival bringing together top-class artists from across Asia, will be held on May 16 and 17 at the Belluna Dome in Saitama, Japan, with the live streaming platforms now confirmed.
This year’s third edition will feature a star-studded lineup of top artists who have achieved significant milestones over the past year, promising spectacular performances.
For the first day on May 16, Hyungwon and IVE’s Rei will serve as MCs. The lineup includes AKASAKA AKIRA, ALPHA DRIVE ONE, &TEAM, CANDY TUNE, CUTIE STREET, DXTEEN, ENHYPEN, FRUITS ZIPPER, IDID, KIMURA MISA, KYOKA, SATO ATSUHIRO, SWEET STEADY, and VVUP. Actors Lee Jun-ho and Go Youn-jung will also be in attendance to light up the event.
On May 17, TVXQ’s Max Changmin and actress Lee Sung-kyung will take over as MCs. The lineup for the second day features ATEEZ, Hearts2Hearts, IKUTA TOUMA, KWON EUNBI, NOWZ, THE RAMPAGE from EXILE TRIBE, WONHO, and xikers. Actor Lee Chae-min is also set to appear.
ASEA 2026 is hosted by NEWSEN, Korea’s leading entertainment and sports media outlet celebrating its 21st anniversary, and @style, a star and style magazine celebrating its 14th anniversary, and is organized by the ASEA Organizing Committee.
