Lim Ji-yeon and Heo Nam-jun are set to bring heart-fluttering excitement to viewers with an unpredictable trip to Jeju Island in ‘Brave New World’.
The SBS Friday-Saturday drama ‘Brave New World’ is a romantic comedy depicting the war-like romance between an unknown actress who becomes “malicious” after being possessed by the soul of a legendary Joseon villainess, and a ruthless chaebol known as a monster created by capitalism. The series is currently a massive hit, with episode 5 reaching a peak rating of 10.3% and a nationwide average of 9.5%, ranking first among all weekly dramas.
In the previous episode, Cha Se-gye (Heo Nam-jun) went all-out in his pursuit of Shin Seo-ri (Lim Ji-yeon). Se-gye raised viewers’ heart rates by sending a coffee truck and flowers, confessing, “I’ll steal your heart.” The episode ended on a twist as the two suffered a simultaneous electric shock on a plane to Jeju for an advertisement shoot, leaving fans curious about what happens next.
Ahead of episode 6, newly released stills show Seo-ri and Se-gye on their business trip to Jeju as the ad model and advertiser, respectively. Seo-ri catches the eye with a stunning goddess-like transformation, promising a successful first ad debut.
The contrasting vibes between the two during a company dinner also spark curiosity. While Seo-ri is thrilled and full of energy at her first-ever company dinner, Se-gye appears strangely moody. However, despite the noise, Se-gye keeps his focus entirely on a drunk Seo-ri with a worried gaze, giving fans a total heart-flutter moment.
Having already openly shown his affection for Seo-ri, all eyes are on what kind of legendary bold moves Se-gye will make in Jeju to shake Seo-ri’s heart and how their romantic tension will unfold.
