
Actress Hwang Jung Eum recently shared a glimpse of her new home and mentioned her ex-husband.
On May 26, a video was posted on Hwang Jung Eum’s YouTube channel showcasing her new residence.
“I’ve moved, so I want to show you my new home,” she said, revealing her new detached house. Living with her mother, she showed a living room decorated to suit her mother’s love for plants. Two chairs in bold colors also caught the eye.
Hwang Jung Eum explained, “I think they’re about 15 years old. They were part of my honeymoon furniture.” When asked why she still has them, she added, “They’re so comfortable and were very expensive, so I couldn’t throw them away.”

The dining table in the kitchen was also from her honeymoon. When the production team asked if everything in the house was from her honeymoon, Hwang Jung Eum replied, “Yes. I brought the furniture with me. He left the door open so I could take my things. I’m grateful,” mentioning her ex-husband.
Meanwhile, Hwang Jung Eum married pro golfer and businessman Lee Young Don in 2016 and had their first son the following year. She filed for divorce mediation in 2020, but the couple reunited and had a second son in 2022 before eventually divorcing. Hwang Jung Eum had previously called him out several times, claiming he had cheated.
Additionally, last year, Hwang Jung Eum was put on trial for allegedly withdrawing approximately 4.3 billion won from her agency, of which she holds 100% ownership, as temporary payments. She was sentenced to two years in prison, suspended for four years, and the sentence was finalized in October of the same year. After a hiatus, she has recently begun her return through YouTube.
