IVE's Agency Takes Strong Legal Action Against Malicious Posts:

Starship Entertainment has once again announced its strong stance against malicious posts targeting the girl group IVE, revealing the progress of legal proceedings for illegal acts such as the spread of false information and defamation.

In an official statement on the 11th, Starship revealed, “We are taking constant legal action against those who write malicious posts, including the spread of false facts, sexual harassment, personal attacks, insults, and privacy violations targeting IVE members An Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, and Leeseo.”

Starship emphasized that such actions are clear illegalities that cannot be justified under any circumstances, making it clear that they will hold perpetrators accountable to the fullest extent of the law without any leniency or exceptions.

The agency explained that they have submitted complaints to investigative agencies regarding malicious posts identified across various platforms, including X (formerly Twitter), DC Inside, Naver Cafe, Daum Cafe, Nate Pann, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, based on fan reports and their own monitoring.

Notably, the agency stated that evidence has been submitted for criminal proceedings regardless of whether posts were deleted, accounts were set to private, IDs were changed, or accounts were deactivated. They have also secured a significant amount of evidence regarding the creation and distribution of malicious rumors, false information, mockery, sexually degrading posts, and distorted content such as deepfakes.

Starship plans to continue its strong response through ongoing monitoring, pursuing both criminal charges and civil claims without any settlements or leniency.

Meanwhile, IVE is currently in the middle of their second world tour, ‘SHOW WHAT I AM’, which is seeing great success.
