The photocall for the 79th Cannes Film Festival took place on the 15th (local time) at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France.
Director Yeon Sang-ho and actors Jun Ji-hyun, Koo Kyo-hwan, Kim Shin-rok, Shin Hyun-bin, and Ji Chang-wook caught everyone’s attention on the red carpet. This marked the very first Cannes red carpet appearance for Jun Ji-hyun, Koo Kyo-hwan, Ji Chang-wook, Shin Hyun-bin, and Kim Shin-rok!
Ji Chang-wook looked absolutely chic in an all-black suit, while also showing off his lovely side with various heart poses.
The team visited Cannes for the movie ‘Swarm’. ‘Swarm’ tells the story of survivors isolated inside a building locked down by a mysterious infection.
The film was officially invited to the Midnight Screening section of the 79th Cannes Film Festival. This is Director Yeon Sang-ho’s latest zombie project following ‘Train to Busan’ (2016) and ‘Peninsula’ (2020), marking his fourth time being invited to Cannes.
The world premiere of ‘Swarm’ will take place at the Lumiere Theatre on the 16th at 0:30 AM local time (7:30 AM KST), with a red carpet event scheduled before the screening.
