The ‘Seoksam Family’ has officially taken over Jeju Island with their perfect mix of sweet and salty chemistry!
In the 6th episode of TV CHOSUN’s ‘Seoksam Play Season 1’ aired on the 16th, Ji Suk Jin, Jeon So Min, Lee Sang Yeob, and Lee Mi Joo embarked on their first 2-day, 1-night journey to Jeju. The unpredictable trip brought a burst of energy to viewers against the backdrop of refreshing scenery.
Upon arriving in Jeju, Ji Suk Jin spotted a Dolhareubang (stone statue) and immediately joked, “He’s my brother. He’s Hareubang, and I’m Kor-bang,” poking fun at his own nose. When Ji Suk Jin quickly greeted cheering tourists, Lee Sang Yeob sparked laughter by cutely questioning, “I think they were cheering for me, so why are you the one greeting them?”
Lee Mi Joo’s driving adventure also became a hot topic. While in the driver’s seat, she asked Lee Sang Yeob, “There’s valet parking, right?” and even managed to ‘self-isolate’ by taking a wrong turn and losing the production crew. Her bold parking attempts, in particular, left the members screaming and the audience in stitches.
At their atmospheric accommodation, the younger members discovered an annex and plotted to isolate Ji Suk Jin, bringing the ‘teasing Suk Jin’ mission to its peak. After putting on couple shoes gifted by the crew, the members launched into a relay of physical comedy, with the usually quiet Lee Sang Yeob surprising everyone by unleashing his variety skills.
However, tensions peaked during the grocery shopping trip. As they bickered over each other’s tastes, Ji Suk Jin shook his head, saying, “I can’t travel with these two sensitive people,” referring to Jeon So Min and Lee Mi Joo. The ‘Soju Sisters’ cheekily responded, “When were we ever?” keeping the tension high.
The ‘enemy chemistry’ continued during dinner. When Jeon So Min handed Ji Suk Jin a wrap, saying, “Give an extra treat to the one you hate,” Ji Suk Jin was momentarily touched, until the spicy kick of a Cheongyang chili hit him. Seeing her enjoy his reaction, Ji Suk Jin warned, “I’m going to get my revenge,” reaching a comedic peak. Yet, they quickly united to plot a bet against the production crew for the next day’s plans.
With stunning visuals of Jeju’s blue landscapes and romantic beaches combined with the members’ sharp banter, episode 6 of ‘Seoksam Play Season 1’ delivered non-stop entertainment.
