In the 5th episode of the SBS Wed-Thu drama ‘Sold Out Again Today’ aired on the 6th, Jo Woo Ri played Moon Ae Ra, the owner of Moon Cafe in Deokpung Village, showcasing a character who seems cold on the outside but is deeply caring on the inside.
Upon hearing about a coffee truck arriving in Deokpung Village, Moon Ae Ra zoomed in on her scooter. She claimed the front of the line without hesitation, silencing the surrounding chatter with just a glance and proving her status as a power player in the village.
Moon Ae Ra’s intensity was especially evident when dealing with Kang Mu Won (played by Yoon Byung Hee). She guarded against the outsider’s arrival with a sharp declaration, saying, “This is my turf.” She further snapped at Kang Mu Won, “I guess coffee brewed by a country girl isn’t fit for an important day, right? This is why I don’t mix with Seoul people.” Through this, Jo Woo Ri dominated the scene with her firm gaze and overwhelming presence.
However, Moon Ae Ra’s “tsundere” twist was also revealed behind her cold exterior. She caught everyone’s attention with an unexpected act of kindness, helping Kang Mu Won peel perilla leaves during a village meal. Jo Woo Ri convincingly portrayed the warm heart hidden behind a bold dialect, perfectly embodying the “crispy on the outside, soft on the inside” character.
