A “Changwon Battle” between Haha and Joo Woo-jae is about to break out!
In the MBC variety show ‘Hangout with Yoo’ airing on May 16, the ‘War of Money’ series continues in Changwon, Gyeongsangnam-do, which is Joo Woo-jae’s hometown and where Haha spent his childhood.
After visiting Yang Sang-guk’s hometown Gimhae and Heo Kyung-hwan’s hometown Tongyeong, Joo Woo-jae is full of enthusiasm as he finally invites the older members to his own hometown, Changwon.
Meanwhile, Haha, who attended elementary and middle school in Changwon for six years, teases Joo Woo-jae, saying, “Woo-jae doesn’t know Changwon well. What would a kid who only went back and forth between home and school know?”
Joo Woo-jae, who lived in Changwon for over 20 years from kindergarten through elementary, middle, high school, and even a retake academy, expresses confidence, claiming, “I’m different. I followed the Changwon elite course(?).” However, upon visiting his alma mater elementary school, he feels awkward when the juniors are more excited about the drone camera than him, remarking, “They don’t recognize their senior.” Yu Jae-seok then sets a forbidden word for Joo Woo-jae, who is brimming with pride for Changwon.
Meanwhile, Haha tries to use his “dad chance,” but his father harshly evaluates Haha’s Gyeongsang-do dialect. In contrast, he praises Yu Jae-seok for improving his dialect, completely crushing Haha’s pride.
