Jun Ji-hyun showed her special affection by worrying about the health of her same-age co-star, Kim Shin-rok.
On the 12th, a video titled “If someone asks about ‘chemistry’, look at Team Gunche | [I’ll watch Gunche, who will get the vaccine?]” was uploaded to the YouTube channel ‘Showbox’.
The video featured the lead cast of the movie ‘Gunche’, including Jun Ji-hyun, Ji Chang-wook, Koo Kyo-hwan, Shin Hyun-bin, and Kim Shin-rok, as they shared behind-the-scenes stories and talked about their teamwork.
When the production team asked who the mood maker on set was, Kim Shin-rok noted that Director Yeon Sang-ho’s filming site is “a feast of episodes.” She added, “Among the people here, everyone might think it’s Koo Kyo-hwan, but the real one is Jun Ji-hyun,” sparking laughter.
Kim Shin-rok continued, “Jun Ji-hyun brightens up the set with the energy of a high school girl,” adding that she “brings lots of food and goes around handing it out personally.”
To this, Jun Ji-hyun warmly replied, “No… I did that to feed Shin-rok because she was so thin. I took care of her a lot because I was worried our Shin-rok might collapse.”
Kim Shin-rok had been losing weight for her character in the movie, and she couldn’t hide her smile after hearing Jun Ji-hyun’s words.
