
Comedian Kang Jae-jun has honestly confessed to the yo-yo effect.
On the May 20 broadcast of SBS Power FM’s ‘Cultwo Show’, Kang Jae-jun appeared as a guest on the ‘Let’s Just Be Average’ corner, with Hwang Chi-yeul serving as the special DJ.
During the show, when it was mentioned that he looked like he had lost some weight in his face, Kang Jae-jun revealed, “I ran on the treadmill for an hour this morning. It’s been a really long time since I’ve run.”
When Hwang Chi-yeul noted, “No wonder you started talking about food as soon as you arrived, unlike usual,” Kang Jae-jun replied, “(Running) brings back my appetite. I moved houses recently, and I had a large size of braised pollack near Yeonhui-dong, and it was delicious. I ate it with Eun-hyung. It was spicy but addictive, and it came with nine side dishes. I mixed everything together and ate it all.”
When Kim Tae-gyun asked about his weight, saying, “You’ve gained more. How much did you hit?”, Kang Jae-jun confessed, “I’ve surpassed 100kg,” which drew applause and laughter from the audience. Kim Tae-gyun joined in the applause, saying, “Congratulations!”
A sighting of Kang Jae-jun also came in, reporting that the couple, Kang Jae-jun and Lee Eun-hyung, were seen walking near Mangwon-dong yesterday after a run.
To this, Kang Jae-jun said, “Ah, I ran yesterday too. As for how I ran, I ran from my house all the way to a famous budae-jjigae (army stew) restaurant in Seogyo-dong. I added extra sausages and even had fried rice at the end. With ramen noodles and glass noodles at the bottom, it was truly delicious.”
Hwang Chi-yeul offered some quick advice: “You run to diet, but if you consume more calories than you burn, you gain weight.” Kang Jae-jun agreed, saying, “That’s exactly me. I’m providing an important example. If you do what I do, you’ll gain weight.”
Meanwhile, while Kang Jae-jun previously succeeded in losing 33kg through running, he had already confessed to the yo-yo effect via ‘Giyu TV’.
