NMIXX members Bae and Sullyoon met with comedian Kim Dae-hee to promote their new song with some witty banter.
A video titled “Bae-din-dol, General Sul, and NMIXX Vol. 3 (feat. Bae, Sullyoon)” was uploaded to the YouTube channel ‘Kkondaehee’ run by comedian Kim Dae-hee.
In the video, NMIXX members Sullyoon and Bae appeared as guests to kick off their promotions for their new song. While sharing Rose Tteokbokki with host Kim Dae-hee, they engaged in a variety of topics. Bae, visiting the set for the second time, shook things up from the start by greeting Kim Dae-hee with the bold title, “Prince, it’s been a long time!”
Kim Dae-hee expressed embarrassment over the “Prince” and “Princess” nicknames assigned during a previous appearance and suggested changing them. However, Bae cheekily replied, “We agreed on ‘Prince,’ didn’t we? Has no one called you that since then?” leaving the senior comedian speechless. Amidst this friendly atmosphere, they chatted about Sullyoon’s real name and hometown, while a natural mention of the Samjeomsam service, which provides tax and medical expense refund information, caught the viewers’ attention.
The conversation then shifted to the members’ quirky daily lives and surprising sleeping habits, which caused bursts of laughter. When Kim Dae-hee mentioned rumors that Sullyoon can fall asleep anywhere and anytime, Sullyoon coolly admitted, “I do sleep quite well,” and even joked, “I could fall asleep right this moment during filming,” bringing laughter to the set.
Bae added that unlike most people who need a place to lean their head, Sullyoon can sleep soundly even while sitting upright. Bae revealed an anecdote where Sullyoon slept perfectly still like a statue in a chair, even while the waiting room was chaotic with staff moving around. Bae added that she even filmed this strange sight for content, but Sullyoon never woke up. While Sullyoon recalled not even realizing she had fallen asleep, she surprised Kim Dae-hee with a plot twist: when she actually lies in a comfortable bed, she wakes up frequently throughout the night.
The studio was filled with laughter during a surprise phone call with Bae’s father, who lives in her hometown of Busan. A heartwarming story was also shared about Bae carefully preparing grated radish juice for her mother. Showing her thoughtful side, Bae gave Kim Dae-hee bamboo salt as a gift, worrying about his chronic gastritis. Meanwhile, Sullyoon showed off her fresh charm by trying Sikhye for the first time in her life. At the end of the recording, NMIXX announced their comeback with the powerful rock-sound track “Heavy Serenade” and perfectly demonstrated the “sunshine smile,” a key point of the choreography, bringing out a proud “dad smile” from Kim Dae-hee. They wrapped up the session with a clever acrostic poem using their group name, wishing for a successful promotion and showing a close bond with their senior.
