Actress Kang Sora showcased her unexpected charms on ‘Running Man’, ranging from her “free woman” vibes to her surprising multilingual abilities.
Appearing on the SBS variety show ‘Running Man’ on the 24th for the first time in about six years, Kang Sora displayed wonderful chemistry with the members.

Kang Sora shared updates on her life since marrying in 2020 and becoming a mother of two. After mentioning she had her first child in 2021 and her second in 2023, Kim Jong Kook expressed his admiration. Kang Sora jokingly added, “Everything happened during the COVID period, so it all happened without anyone knowing,” sparking laughter.

Unlike her shy image from six years ago, she appeared much more easy-going. Kang Sora laughed, saying, “I’m showing much more of my true self.” When Yoo Jae Suk joked that she seemed like part of the “married club” who doesn’t want to go home after filming, she coolly admitted, “I came here to recharge my dopamine.”

She further amused the set by calling herself a “free woman,” stating, “I didn’t come here to promote something; I came because it’s fun.” She also candidly shared that while she used to go home late on purpose even if filming ended early, she now feels disappointed if it ends too soon.
The conversation turned to her stamina after her second child. After jokingly asking for understanding regarding “childbirth issues,” she boasted about her steady form, saying, “I did squats well on ‘Jim Jong Kook’.” She caused a burst of laughter by explaining, “My joints ache on rainy days, but it didn’t rain that day.”

Most notably, her hidden language skills were revealed. During a game to guess song titles from K-pop English lyrics, while Ahn Jae Hyun jokingly expressed a desire to “leave the show” from the start, Kang Sora surprised everyone with her fluency in multiple languages, including English and Japanese. Her high-level skills, which allow her to communicate directly with international fans, captured the viewers’ attention.
