Singer DinDin, who has joined as a new MC for ‘Nunan Naege Yeojaya 2’, candidly shared his experiences dating older women.
KBS2’s new dating variety show ‘Nunan Naege Yeojaya 2’ released an interview with DinDin on the 19th. Joining existing MCs Han Hye Jin and Jang Wooyoung, DinDin is expected to bring even more honest and realistic dating talk to the new season.
DinDin has always had a close bond with “nunas” (older women). Having grown up with two older sisters, he even became a hot topic for his chemistry with them, leading to the creation of the “Nemo-lighting” meme. Regarding this, DinDin joked, “I think my sisters might have had some influence on me being cast.”
He added, “Since I’m so used to spending time with older women, I think I’ll be able to read their psychology well on the program,” expressing his determination to share those insights during the broadcast.
DinDin also spoke honestly about his dating style. “I think I mostly liked older women,” he confessed. “From a young age until my 30s, I think I wanted to meet older women because I wasn’t mature enough.” He further added, “I think there’s a charm in naturally being able to lean on and rely on an older woman.”
DinDin pointed to the unique emotional connection between older and younger partners as a distinguishing feature of ‘Nunan Naege Yeojaya 2’. He explained, “There are definitely subtle emotions felt by those attracted to older women and those who find younger partners cute. If we catch those points, it will be a truly interesting program.”
He also mentioned the fast pace as a key point to watch. “The tempo is faster and the stay period is shorter than other programs, so the development is definitely quicker,” DinDin said confidently. “You’ll understand why this program made it to Season 2 after watching just a little bit.”
Meanwhile, KBS2’s ‘Nunan Naege Yeojaya 2’, featuring MCs Han Hye Jin, Jang Wooyoung, and DinDin, will premiere on the 23rd at 10:40 PM.
