Actress Kang Ye-won has shared a heartbreaking message for her father following his recent passing.
On the 2nd, Kang Ye-won posted a long letter and photos on her personal SNS, writing, “Dad! Dad! I miss you so, so much,” while sharing a glimpse of her father’s final moments.
She wrote, “You’re still by my side, right? I keep crying now that I’m home alone. Please don’t leave yet; stay and see me doing well and being strong before you go to God.” She added, “Seeing my sleeping father’s peaceful face makes my heart feel much more at ease. You’re not in pain anymore, right?”
She continued, “I will take responsibility for Mom and Yohan until the end and make them happy. Please don’t worry and wait for me in heaven for a little while.” She also expressed her regrets, saying, “Since I was young, the person I respected most was my dad. I wanted to show him everything and do everything for him before letting him go, but I’m sorry for being an insufficient daughter.”
Kang Ye-won concluded her post by saying, “Thank you for raising your late-born daughter with such love. I love you, my dad.”
Meanwhile, Kang Ye-won’s father passed away on the 30th of last month. On the 29th, just one day before his passing, she had shared a touching moment, saying, “My dad is lying in a nursing hospital. I wanted to play my YouTube videos for him so he wouldn’t be bored all day, but the tablet was too old to work, so I just installed a holder. I’ll try again when I visit this week,” leaving fans deeply saddened.
