The second episode of tvN’s ‘Kill It: Style Creator Great War,’ which aired on the 19th, wrapped up the 1R Style War mission to determine the top 50 out of 100 ‘It Girls’ and kicked off the even more intense 2R 1:1 Deathmatch. The episode began with the announcement of the final 1R rankings.
This mission left participants in total chaos due to a bold new rule: they had to swap carriers with their opponents. Amidst a psychological battle, the top rankers from 1R selected their opponents and items to finalize the match brackets.
Among them, ‘chaebol third-generation creator’ Yu Hee-ra caught everyone’s attention as she entered a state of chaos. Her carrier was packed with ultra-expensive rare items since she only styles with high-end luxury brands. Choi Mi-na-su pointed Bellauyoung as her opponent. Choi Mi-na-su had previously received harsh criticism from Jang Yoon-ju in 1R for being “old,” while Bellauyoung is renowned among participants as a styling master.
Many were worried about Choi Mi-na-su’s challenge. However, she confidently teased a makeover, saying, “I wanted to try on the trendy clothes of Bellauyoung unnie. I am a character who grows immensely. I will show you a cool Choi Mi-na-su.”
Kim Nara, who is a professional stylist, showed strong confidence. She chose a ‘black blazer’ as the common item.
However, Kim Nara sensed a crisis the moment she saw the actual blazer. The jacket size was much larger than expected, and there were no suitable items in Park Si-yeon’s carrier. Facing a major crisis, Kim Nara decided to go for a unique visual, saying, “I felt like I would be eliminated at this rate, so I want to show a different visual,” and shaved her head on the spot. Even the hair stylist hesitated, but Kim Nara insisted, “Please trust my head shape.”
When Kim Nara finally appeared on stage, the crowd gasped. The shaved head proved to be a “god-tier move,” adding a chic and intense vibe. It was also surprising to learn that she created the black choker around her neck on the spot using black tape.
Turning her crisis into an opportunity, Kim Nara secured a complete victory, beating Park Si-yeon by a ten-fold margin in votes. Kim Nara shared, “I believe styling is not about the result, but about the performance, practice, or process. That’s why I think I did styling that found my true self today.” In other matches, Uwa won against Yongyong, and Capri won against Yu So-jung.
Additionally, Lee Su-min won the battle against Nayawashi. The elimination of Nayawashi, a powerful favorite who ranked first in the pre-screening, was a shocking twist. The show left viewers eager for the next episode with teased big matches, including Yu Bin Kelly vs Lee Jung-hyun, Yeo Yeon-hee vs Kang Kyung-won, and a clash between twin models Seo Hyun and Seo Yoon.
