I.O.I’s Kim Do-yeon has revealed that she studied abroad in the UK to hone her acting skills!

During the show, it was shared that Kim Do-yeon won the Best New Actress award at the Blue Dragon Film Awards for her role in the movie ‘Amoeba Girls and School Ghost Stories’. This marks her first award since starting her acting career! Her fellow I.O.I members sent her congratulatory messages in real-time, and Choi Yoo-jung even made a surprise visit to the celebration party.

On top of that, Kim Do-yeon shared that she was invited to the Cannes Film Festival for the movie ‘Dora’. She revealed her dedication to her craft, explaining, “I took a short course at an acting school in London for about two months.
