Kim Hyang-gi confessed her one-sided love for Cha Hak-yeon to her best friend Kim So-hee, with whom she had been fighting.
In the 12th episode of the Coupang Play series ‘Absolute Value of Romance’ (written by Lee Min-ju / directed by Lee Tae-gon and Kim Jun-hyung) aired on May 15, Yeo Ui-ju (played by Kim Hyang-gi) reconciled with her best friend Choi Go-ya (played by Kim So-hee).
As the mood for reconciliation grew, Yeo Ui-ju suddenly confessed, “I like Su-hak (played by Cha Hak-yeon).” Yeo Ui-ju apologized, saying, “I should have just told you that I started liking Su-hak, but I couldn’t. Since we used to badmouth him together, I thought you’d find it ridiculous, and I was flustered because I didn’t understand my own feelings. That’s why I hurt you. I’m sorry.”
Choi Go-ya responded, “I was upset because it felt like you had a secret from me. I don’t care if you like Dong-ju (played by Kim Dong-gyu). But it hurt that there was something you couldn’t tell me. You used to tell me everything. You even told me first when you were constipated,” adding, “You are my number one priority,” as a heartfelt confession of their friendship.
