Singer Kim Kwang-jin has named AKMU as the juniors he is currently keeping an eye on.
Kim Kwang-jin appeared on the May 1st broadcast of KBS 2TV’s ‘The Seasons – Sung Si-kyung’s Gomak Namchin’.
He expressed his deep gratitude to juniors such as Zion.T, Lee Seok-hoon, Kwon Jin-ah, Seol In-ah, and Sung Si-kyung for covering his songs. “I’m so grateful,” he shared. “In the past, I just thought they were singing them, but lately, I’ve noticed many people from the younger generation attending my concerts. I believe that’s all thanks to my juniors.”
When asked if there are any juniors he particularly admires, he replied, “Isn’t AKMU great? I’ve even seen comments saying it would be wonderful to do something with Chan-hyuk.”
Sung Si-kyung reacted by saying, “That would be amazing. While Chan-hyuk has his own position, this is really about hyung genuinely liking (AKMU’s) music.” Kim Kwang-jin added, “I feel so happy thinking that my juniors have ‘summoned’ me by covering my songs so often.”
