Kim Sook Finds Another “Artifact” While Landscaping Her National Heritage House—Will Construction Stop? (‘Unpredictable’)

Kim Sook Finds Another

Entertainer Kim Sook has begun landscaping the yard of her home in Jeju.

In the episode of tvN’s ‘Unpredictable’ aired on the 8th, the Sook Family was shown starting their landscaping work. Actress Jeon Hye-jin, who visited to see her spouse Lee Chun-hee, naturally joined in as a helper.

Jeon Hye-jin bravely moved heavy trees, leaving Kim Sook impressed by her strength. Jeon joked back, saying, “My stamina is short, though. I have one hour left,” bringing laughter to the set.

Before planting the Hagul tree that Kim Sook had wanted since before the remodeling began, the Sook Family held a small ceremony where everyone took turns scooping soil.

However, the mood soon turned serious. While digging the hole for the Hagul tree, the shovel hit something hard.

Song Eun-i picked up a round, plate-shaped part and wondered, “Is this an artifact?” She even predicted it might be from the Iron Age, while Kim Sook looked distressed at the thought of construction being delayed again.

Upon closer inspection, the part was marked ‘Made in China.’ It turned out that Jang Woo-young had found it somewhere and buried it shallowly in the ground. Lee Chun-hee scolded Jang Woo-young, asking, “Do you want to see Kim Sook collapse?”

Meanwhile, Kim Sook’s 230-pyeong house in Seongeup Village, Jeju, which had been neglected for 10 years, became a hot topic after being revealed on ‘Unpredictable.’

Since the house is located in a National Heritage designated area, remodeling required permission from the National Heritage Administration and had to strictly follow requirements, such as preserving the original Jeju basalt stone walls and thatched roof.
