Broadcaster Kim Sung-joo is reuniting with singer Lee Seung-chul.
Kim Sung-joo will take over the hosting duties for ENA’s growth-oriented music project, ‘THE SCOUT : 다시 태어나는 별’ (The Scout).
‘The Scout’ premiered on the 8th and has released two episodes so far. In just 10 days since the launch, it has already surpassed 1.17 million cumulative global votes, drawing significant interest from fans in the UK, USA, Japan, and beyond.
As a representative MC of Korea, Kim Sung-joo is known for his stable hosting skills from his announcer days, combined with great variety sense and quick wit. Given his unrivaled presence in live broadcasting, he is expected to bring vibrant energy to the upcoming live stages of ‘The Scout’ with his seasoned and cheerful hosting style.
Kim Sung-joo completed his first recording on the 3rd. He will be active across both live and pre-recorded broadcasts, delivering the growth stories of the 16 muses as well as the passion and mentoring of masters Lee Seung-chul, Kim Jae-joong, Wendy, and Young K.
The reunion with Lee Seung-chul is especially eye-catching. The two previously showed off their perfect chemistry over a long period on Mnet’s ‘Superstar K’ series, which is considered the pioneer of Korean audition programs.
