Singer Kim Ui-young is proving her status as a total trendsetter in the trot world after taking the top spot as the singer fans most want to go on a train trip with now that the weather is warming up!
TenAsia held a poll from the 27th of last month to the 3rd of this month with the theme: “Who is the female trot singer you want to go on a train trip with in the warm weather?”
Taking the 1st place spot was Kim Ui-young! She made her debut as a trot singer after ranking in the TOP 5 of TV Chosun’s ‘Miss Trot 2’ back in 2020. In May last year, she released her fourth single ‘STARTrot PART.1,’ produced by Kim Hyung-suk. The title track ‘Do Everything You Want’ is a bright and cheerful dance trot song that perfectly highlights Kim Ui-young’s refreshing charm.
Kim Da-hyun landed in 2nd place. Last month, she attended an appointment ceremony at the Yeosu Utop Marina Hotel & Resort Greenwich Hall, where she received an appointment letter from Chairman Park Su-kwan. Leveraging the current K-trot craze, Kim Da-hyun plans to engage in promotional activities to raise public interest and spread the purpose of the expo.
Rounding out the top three is Kim So-yeon. Along with her fan club ‘Soyeon Seong-chi,’ Kim So-yeon continues to make meaningful moves by spreading positive influence. On March 28, they held a sponsorship event at the Nowon Senior Welfare Center, donating 3 million won and delivering gift packages to 80 low-income seniors in the community.
