Actress Kim Young-ok has candidly revealed that she underwent plastic surgery.
In the May 9 episode of JTBC’s variety show Knowing Bros (episode 528), Kim Young-ok, Sa Mi-ja, and Nam Neung-mi appeared as transfer students.
During the show, Kim Young-ok confessed, “People say my face is all natural, but I’ve had work done too. I did it 50 years ago.”
She shared that she had double eyelid surgery in 1976, explaining, “When I was 43, my eyelids developed three or four folds on the top. I had to have surgery at that time.”
Kim Young-ok added, “My second daughter was about 10 years old at the time, and when I came home, she told me, ‘Mom, do you know how ugly it looks?’ She really disliked it. I looked in the mirror and felt like crying because of the swelling. Once the swelling went down and over a year passed, it looked natural. I never touched them again.”
