Koyote’s Shinji and Singer Moon Won Tie the Knot in Private Wedding!

Koyote member Shinji (44) and junior singer Moon Won (37) have officially tied the knot!

According to music industry sources on the 2nd, Shinji and Moon Won held a private wedding ceremony in Gangnam, Seoul. Comedian Moon Se-yoon served as the MC, while singer Baek Z Young performed the congratulatory song.

Reportedly, the couple has postponed their honeymoon plans for the time being due to the conflict in the Middle East.

The couple, who have a seven-year age difference, admitted to dating last year with marriage in mind. They first met in 2024 on MBC Standard FM’s ‘Lee Yoon-seok and Shinji’s Single Bungle Show’ as DJ and guest, and their relationship blossomed into romance that same year.

The two are already living together and have been sharing glimpses of their newlywed life on KBS 2TV’s ‘Stars’ Top Recipe at Fun-staurant’. They are also set to reveal the entire process of their wedding preparations on MBN’s ‘Someone Else’s Precious Family’.

Shinji debuted in 1998 as a member of Koyote. She has been loved by the public for numerous hit songs starting with ‘Pure Love’, followed by ‘Heartbreak’, ‘Fashion’, ‘Blue’, ‘Dream’, and ‘Disco King’. As an original member of Koyote, she has been active since 2004 alongside Kim Jong-min and Bbaekga. In 2008, she also debuted as a solo artist with songs like ‘Sunny Day’ and ‘I Wish’.

Moon Won is a ballad singer who debuted in 2012 with ‘Live With Me’ and has released tracks such as ‘Because We Must Break Up’, ‘How’, ‘Taking a Break’, and ‘Looking Only at You’.
