Comedian Lee Eun-hyung has been practicing babbling to help her son start speaking!
On the 5th, a video titled “Hyun-jo’s Family is Moving” was uploaded to the YouTube channel ‘Giyu TV’, run by the couple Kang Jae-jun and Lee Eun-hyung.
The family was busy packing for their upcoming move. While Hyun-jo played with his toys amidst the boxes, Lee Eun-hyung noticed his babbling and joked, “Hyun-jo is speaking an alien language these days. His babbling is no joke!” As she mimicked him, Hyun-jo babbled even more. A proud Lee Eun-hyung said, “Let’s practice a lot with Mom and talk a lot later.”
After attending a parent-teacher consultation at daycare, Lee Eun-hyung shared, “They told me Hyun-jo is doing very, very well. I was so happy. They said he’s a very active child, though he’s a bit timid.”
She added, “I think sending him to daycare makes me feel more affectionate and precious about parenting. I feel more attached and happy.”
There was more good news! Lee Eun-hyung revealed, “I heard Hyun-jo has great athletic skills. That was exactly what I wanted to hear. They said he probably inherited those skills from his grandfather.”
Meanwhile, back in March, Lee Eun-hyung and Kang Jae-jun shared their worries about their son Hyun-jo on their YouTube channel. Kang Jae-jun met with a parenting expert, expressing his concerns: “Many people are saying Hyun-jo is a bit slow to speak, so I’m worried. I’m also very curious about his development compared to other children his age.”
Lee Eun-hyung also confessed, “I was worried because I felt like he doesn’t look at us much, although he’s great at responding when called.” The expert reassured her, explaining that he is simply a child who is more interested in new things than in people.
