Lee Kyung-kyu Shuts Down Health Rumors for the Second Time in Two Years!

Comedian Lee Kyung-kyu’s agency has shut down health rumors that have resurfaced for the second time in two years.

On the 12th, a representative for Lee Kyung-kyu told OSEN, “The health rumors are not true. Since he has a live broadcast today, you will be able to see for yourselves that these rumors are unfounded by watching the show.”

Previously, on the 7th, Lee Kyung-kyu invited diabetes expert Director Lee Hye-min to his YouTube channel ‘God Kyung-kyu’ to discuss blood sugar levels and health management methods.

Lee Kyung-kyu shared his struggles, saying, “My war with diabetes began five years ago. My quality of life has completely hit rock bottom. There is nothing I can eat. Lunch and dinner are so miserable.”

Following the video, some netizens claimed that Lee Kyung-kyu’s speech seemed slurred, his reactions were slow, and his complexion looked poor, leading them to suspect a brain disease and advise him to get a health checkup.

However, Lee Kyung-kyu’s side denied these health rumors, stating that it was a temporary dip in condition due to a lack of sleep.

Lee Kyung-kyu was previously caught up in health rumors in 2024 due to wrinkles on his earlobes. Appearing on ‘You Quiz on the Block’, he explained, “At the end of the year, a viewer who likes me posted a photo. They captured it and said, ‘Lee Kyung-kyu has wrinkles on his ears, which means he is at risk for cerebral hemorrhage or myocardial infarction.'”

He added, “When I saw that, I looked in the mirror and saw the wrinkles. I was shocked and panicked. So I went to a hospital I know, met a doctor, and had an MRI. When the results came out, I was perfectly fine. I want to tell everyone not to worry too much.”

Although health rumors have resurfaced after two years, Lee Kyung-kyu’s side has once again dismissed the controversy, stating there are no issues.
