The scene of comedian Lee Kyung-sil’s 60th birthday party has been revealed.
On the 24th, a video titled “Spectacularly Exhausting Lee Kyung-sil’s 60th Birthday Party” was posted on the YouTube channel ‘Lee Hong-ryul TV’.
Fellow comedians Jeon Young-mi, Kim Ji-sun, Jo Hye-ryun, Jung Sun-hee, Kim Hyo-jin, and Lee Hong-ryul carefully prepared the celebration at the restaurant owned by Lee Sung-mi’s son. Lee Kyung-sil entered the venue feeling a bit shy but happy, while her colleagues sang songs to liven up the party atmosphere.
The colleagues then started counting down how many years they had left until their own 60th birthdays. Jo Hye-ryun, who mentioned she has four years to go, joked, “Next is Park Mi-sun.” Meanwhile, Lee Kyung-sil wondered why Lee Hong-ryul was joining a gathering of women, to which Kim Ji-sun jokingly replied, “This oppa is a woman. He fits right in,” bringing laughter to the group. Lee Hong-ryul expressed deep emotion seeing his juniors, who were in their 20s back then, now approaching their 60s. Adding to the joy, Kim Ji-sun even changed into a hanbok for a special celebratory performance for Lee Kyung-sil.
This was a surprise event by Kim Ji-sun. However, it was revealed that the group had burst into tears during their conversation just before the performance. A slightly awkward Kim Ji-sun shared, “I brought this (hanbok) from home just for this one thing. But while we were talking earlier, the mood was just… I had it ready, but I wondered if I should even do it. I thought, ‘Maybe I should just leave without doing it?’ but Sung-mi unnie told me to prepare.”
