
Actress Lee Luda is diving into her first body horror challenge with the upcoming film ‘Pink Box’!
Her agency, iHQ, shared, “Lee Luda will appear in the movie ‘Pink Box’ as ‘Ban Ji-woo.’ Please give her lots of love and support!”
Produced by the comprehensive content production company UP Works, ‘Pink Box’ is an omnibus horror film. It tells the story of five famous influencers, each with a million followers, who get swept up in a series of mysterious disappearances following a celebratory party.
In the film, Lee Luda plays ‘Ban Ji-woo,’ the youngest high school influencer who runs the channel ‘Beauty Inside.’ Struggling with an obsession over her appearance due to a facial scar from a childhood accident, Ban Ji-woo encounters the mysterious ‘Pink Box’ and faces unexpected events. Lee Luda will lead this episode, delivering an intense sense of immersion and terror.
Lee Luda expressed her excitement through her agency, saying, “I was thrilled to challenge myself with body horror, a subgenre of horror, for the first time. To portray the multi-dimensional aspects of the character, I studied many body horror works and had a great time filming while experiencing various special effects makeup. Please look forward to it!”
Starting with the movie ‘The Other Side,’ Lee Luda has confirmed her appearance in ‘Love WiFi-Gung’ and ‘Pink Box.’ She has been building her presence as an actress through various works such as the dramas ‘Linja Myeonok’ and ‘My X-like Twenties.’
