Lee Sang-min showed his side as a total “over-invested” fan on ‘Heart Signal 5’.
In the May 19 broadcast of Channel A’s ‘Heart Signal 5’, Lee Sang-min keenly captured the subtle emotional shifts of the residents during their trip to Japan.
During the episode, Lee Sang-min questioned and felt bad for resident Choi So-yoon, who seemed to deeply like Park Woo-yeol based only on first impressions. However, he quickly agreed when Kim Eana countered that “everyone is doing that.”
Lee Sang-min’s sharp eyes shone during the 1:1 date selection. He let out a cute sigh, “Oh, Mr. Sung-min,” for Kim Sung-min, who wanted a date with Kang Yu-gyeong but hadn’t spoken with her yet. When Jung Jun-hyun also chose Kang Yu-gyeong, he sharply analyzed, “It seems he came on this trip with a strong will to clearly express his feelings.”
While watching the date between Kang Yu-gyeong and Kim Sung-min, Lee Sang-min noted that Kim Sung-min was putting brakes on his own emotions. He skillfully interpreted this as “continuing to express his feelings for Kang Yu-gyeong.” He offered realistic advice for Kim Sung-min, saying, “It’s actually better not to have a huge impact. He’s the type who is always by someone’s side, so if he tries to force a big moment, it might actually backfire.”
Lee Sang-min also delicately pointed out the complex emotions and subtle signals of other residents. When Park Woo-yeol told Jung Gyu-ri, “I just want to call you by your name,” Lee Sang-min exclaimed, “This is huge flirting,” sparking curiosity. He also showed deep understanding for Kim Min-ju, who had no one to lean on, stating, “With both Jung Jun-hyun and Kim Sung-min focused on Kang Yu-gyeong, Kim Seo-won appeared like a savior.”
At the end of the show during the love line predictions, Lee Sang-min reacted with frustration when Kim Min-ju chose Kim Sung-min, saying, “The love line pattern has changed. She’s going straight for him even after seeing things she shouldn’t have,” which brought laughter to the set.
